Between August and October 2025, we documented a campaign of AI-generated and visual propaganda that connected pride in Ethiopia’s Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) to calls for the country to secure sea access through Eritrea’s Assab port. This DISARM case study outlines the narratives, tactics, and amplification patterns we observed, and includes a full evidence log (E01–E14) and recommendations for platforms, media, and civil society.
